Studying Skills

I think I could use some work on getting started. I am a huge procrastinator. I work hard once I get started, but it's the getting started that takes awhile. I need to find more ways to motivate myself or have other people motivate me. I just need a little extra push to get things in gear.

5 Things To Improve My Note-Taking
1. making sure my notes are written so i can make sense of them later
2. keeping focus so there isn't a section missing in my notes
3. if i do miss something, get it from a friend later
4. be prepared to take notes before i even get into class
5. read over my notes and find out anything i wasn't sure about

5 Things To Control My Procrastination
1. motivating myself even if I'm not interested
2. asking questions if I'm confused on how to start
3. realizing that everything doesn't have to be perfect and things can be redone
4. doing a task even if i see no reason why
5. organizing which tasks need to be done first

Attendance and Timliness

I like to consider myself as being very punctual. If I say I'm going to be somewhere at a certain time then that means I'm going to be there. My supervisor at my service learning has even complimented me on it. If I enjoy doing something I show up on the time I'm supposed to. But, no one is perfect, I have a few areas I could work on. I tend to not show up if I don't really care to be somewhere. I need to show as much initiative in the things I don't wanna do and the things I do.

I feel like you should never agree to do anything if you aren't sure your schedule is clear. If I were to become overwhelmed with obligations I would try my best to get to all of them, but I would prioritize and deal with the most important first.
